Wanting to do some fun crafts with your kids or just making some cute projects around the house?
There are some really great ideas in magazines like Family Fun, Better Home and Gardens, Home Journal, Fresh Home, Home Decorating, House Beautiful, Parenting, CardMaker, Creative Keepsakes, Scrapbooks Etc, Quilting, Elle Decor, Papercrafts, American Style, and Crocheting are just a few good ones to check out! I found some really great ideas for homemade gifts this year! Here are a few I found and maybe you know them already, but here they are:
1. Making a decorative box filled with memorable objects of your kids pictures, crafts, photos, and give to your mom or dad for memorable lifetime treasures!
2. Making handmade coasters from felt or foam to give to grandma and grandpa of the kids handprints!
3. Taking various sizes of glass containers and filling them with decorative sand, shells, acorns, dried flowers, dried greenery, etc..make your own display and give as gifts for decor!
4. Reusing your Christmas Cards to cut and make decorative tags or cards for scrapbooking!
5. Making a wreath out of your old yarn by using a foam wreath and rolling your balls of yarn into 2-3 inch rolls and glue them around like bulbs all around the wreath! assorted colors or all the same colors!
